I bought a Dell latitude D820 last year. Right after a year, the battery is turning into bad. It only lasts for 5 minutes after unplug. The service warranty period has passed. I thought that I was unlucky to get such a bad battery computer. I don’t mind to pay for another $199 or $299 for a new one. However, I searched Dell website and read so many complaints about this battery that I realized it is not the odd I got was not good, but it is the product itself. Sounds like a lot of people encountered such unfortunate. I began to realize that if I pay for a new one, I will pay for a new battery each year.
I have a Compaq laptop. After 4 years, the battery is still running for 5 hours. I began to ponder if I should just keep this Dell running with electricity plug on and do nothing with it.
Other than that, I am also wondering to buy an Apple laptop. Now days, the Apple shares are fluctuated. I never doubt that I am right to put a lot of money onto Apple stock since me, who is such a stubbed Window person is thinking of buying an Apple computer, that company will be very sound and fortunate.
No more buying laptop from Dell except some cheap desk tops. No more Dell stocks, but Apples.
